A limited series of 400 bottles, this is a sake with a delicate aromatic freshness. The presence of Ori, the tiny particles that give it its colour, gives it a tension in the mouth that makes it very easy to drink as an aperitif, preferably chilled to accentuate the aromas. Or hot to accompany spicy dishes.

About the brewery : Born of meetings and a trip to Japan, the idea of creating a traditional Sakagura in France may seem original. And so might its location, in the heart of a region renowned for its excellent wine, amidst the hillsides of Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie and Saint Joseph. On closer inspection, what might have appeared to be a handicap has turned out to be a formidable asset: a taste for excellence mixed with a taste for tradition, a quest for combinations with dishes to magnify the cuisine that our two cultures have refined over the years. In Japan as in France, the quest is the same. Introducing the Les Larmes du Levant brewery and its first vintages of French sakés, made from the best varieties of sake rice in Japan, brewed with the pure water of Mont Pilat, then matured in vats with all the care and love the brewers have given it during its maturation.
