A partnership between eight Kamamoto from Arita, called "Dorakuza", is at the origin of this project. This time, the sakazuki series was designed in partnership with shochu producers. While traditional shochu cuts are generally angular, here we have a much rounder shape. The base has been designed to allow the aromas to rise gradually and to express themselves while circulating in a closed vessel thanks to a narrow neck. The texture of the porcelain is soft to the lips, following their shape. Its external curves make it easy to hold. Three small feet at the base prevent the bowl from sticking to the surface on which it is placed. Originally designed for tasting the traditional Kyushu beverage, the versions we present here are reduced in size, adapted to Japanese sake. Here, a pretty blue sakazuki to serve sake in the traditional way. Comes in its own box.
