About the distillery : The Yonezawa Family, a family of sake brewers since 1856, began distilling in 1917. As we approach the 100-year anniversary of spirits production, the House has installed two new Forsyth’s stills. This revival gives birth to the distillery named Kaikyo in tribute to the famous Akashi-Kaikyo bridge located in front of the distillery. 135° East Hyogo Dry Gin is an artisanal gin from the distillation of classic London Dry botanicals and Japanese botanicals.
