Yamazakura Peated Blended
Malt whisky made from peated malted barley and grain whisky. It is not chill-filtered and is aged in bourbon casks. The nose is sweet, with notes of caramel, light smoke and vanilla. The palate is delicious, with notes of peat, malt and citrus fruit. The finish is lingering, evoking vanilla, yellow fruit and smoke.

About the distillery : Sasanokawa Shuzo is a Japanese distillery founded in 1765, based in Fukushima prefecture. Initially specializing in the production of shochu, a traditional Japanese spirit, the distillery has expanded its activities to include the manufacture of whisky. It is renowned for its high-quality shochu, distilled from a variety of raw materials. The distillery also produces whisky under brands such as Yamazakura.
