Sakes

Our section dedicated to Japanese sake, also known as Nihonshu, offers a fascinating exploration of this traditional beverage. Obtained by fermenting rice, Japanese sake has an alcohol content of around 15%. Sake can be enjoyed in a variety of ways, served either chilled or heated, and adapted to different occasions such as aperitifs or meals. The manufacturing process, involving the polishing of rice and the use of specific mushrooms and yeasts, gives rise to a diversity of flavors and aromas. Sake categories include Junmai, Ginjo and Daiginjo, each with its own distinct characteristics. This drink offers a rich taste experience, from dry to sweet, and is an invitation to discover Japanese culture and tradition through a carefully selected glass of Nihonshu.
