For the production of Honjozo sake, the rice is milled up to 70% minimum. It is possible to add alcohol at the end of fermentation. Honjozo sake is a rather dry sake, pleasant and esay to drink. It can be drunk at any occasion, and is perfect to drink as a heated sake. It is up to you to define the perfect temperature for a hot sake.
Our advice : Choose Honjozo sake, for easy-drinking sake with typical Japanese pairings such as yakitoris or nabes for example. They can be enjoyed over a wide range of temperatures, from cool to room temperature and are perfect for preparing hot sake.
